You can also wander at the Wildlife Sanctuaries in and around the hill station such as Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary, Eravikulam National Park, Kurinjimala Sanctuary, Pampadum Shola National park, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, etc.

If you are an adventure enthusiast, then can try paragliding here. The place also offers good trekking trails such as Anamudi Peak, Rajamalai Hills and Devikulam.

Top Station is another must visit tourist destination in the Kannan Devan Hills. The spot is part of Theni district of Tamil Nadu located at 35 kms from the hill station. This area is popular for the rare Neelakurinji flowers that blooms only once in 12 years. The interesting site here is the ruins of the old ropeway that linked the foothills to the tea estates. From the Top Station, you can enjoy the astonishing view of the surrounding landscapes.

You can find here shops selling fresh, keeping perfect standards and best quality tea, strawberries and spices. There are many small eateries here selling tasty snacks such as vadas, bondas and bhajis. You should not miss fish bhaji with tea. The main special dishes served with meals are sea foods, especially spicy Kerala style fish curry which is the best.
