Rose Garden: The garden is spread over 30 acres. This garden is also known as Zakir Hussain Rose Garden.  This is the largest botanical garden in Asia dedicated to roses. The garden houses several varieties of medicinal herbs also.

International Dolls Museum: The Museum houses dolls and puppets from over 25 different countries. This museum was established in 1985. The main attractions here are the Indian section and the toy train.

Pinjore Gardens: The garden is also known as Yadavindra Gardens. This garden houses several structures displaying a distinctblend of the Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles.

ChattBir Zoo: The Zoo inhibits several exotic non-native wild animals, birds and reptiles. The other attraction here is the famous lion safari. The zoo is also known as the Mahendra Chaudhry Zoological Park.

Terraced Garden: The garden is spread over 10 acres. This is a well maintained botanical garden located at the foothills of the Himalayan Shivalik Range. This was established in 1979.

Cactus Gardens:  The garden covers an area of 17 acres. There are about 3500 different species of cacti in the garden.  This is the largest succulent garden in Asia.

Chandigarh is well connected with road, rail and air transport. The best time to visit here is from August to November when the climate is pleasant.
