    Quila Mubarak: This is one of the main tourist attractions of Patiala. The palace is a great example of beautiful Sikh architecture. Quila Mubarak was once the residence of the royals. The palace complex spread over an area of 10 acres and is located in the center of the city. There is a museum and an art gallery inside the palace which houses the Patiala paintings depicting various scenes from the Hindu mythology.

    Sheesh Mahal: The Sheesh Mahal or the Palace of Mirrors is located at the old Moti Bag palace. This stands as the great example of the grand glorious past of the Maharajas once ruled the region.  The other main attractions by the palace are the lake and the bridge called the Lakshamana Jhula. There are also grand mural paintings inside the palace, portraying themes from mythology and religion.

    Baradari Gardens: The word Baradari refers to the 12 doors that serve as an entrance to the historic garden. This is a fine specimen of Mughal style of architecture that blends the Indian, Persian and Turkic architecture. This was built near the stately residence of Maharaja Rajinder Singh called the Baradari Palace or the Rajinder Kothi which has now been constructed into a heritage hotel.

    Bahadurgah Fort: The Fort is located 6 km away from the city of Patiala. This was built in 1658, by Nawab Saif Khan and was called as Saifabad at that time. Later on, Maharaja Amar Singh renovated the fort and renamed it as Bahadurgah Fort.

    The other most visited places here include Moti Bagh Palace, Jalau Khana & Sard Khana, Lachman Jhoola, Bir Moti Bagh, Goddess Kali Temple, Shahi Samadhan, etc.
