These nature walks commence from Bir Tibetan Colony to Baijnath via Sherab Ling monastery and take the tourists from beautiful forests and tea gardens. The Monastery here offers periodic courses in Buddhist meditation and philosophy.

Chokling monastery is one of the most popular monasteries in Bir. There is a huge stupa and also a charming statue of Padmasambhava. The monastery is located in the Bir Tibetan colony.

The next mostly visited tourist spot in Bir is Bir Tea Factory. It is located near the Bir Bazaar with tea gardens and plantations brimming around the town.
