Jammu & Kashmir to focus on Adventure Tourism

To bring back tourists to the Jammu & Kashmir after the devastating floods last year, the state government has now started focusing on adventure tourism. The state government is offering so many adventure options for the tourists’ right from trekking to biking, river rafting, skiing, etc.

In 2014 the state was visited by 11.5 lakh tourists besides the Amarnath yatra pilgrims. This year the government is expecting an impressive increase in the number of tourists visiting the state with this new initiative of adventure tourism.
