Bharatpur is a city of eastern Rajasthan. This is an ideal place to visit in the month of November. It is the time, when a rich variety of migratory birds as well as birds of local species, both land and water birds visit and enjoys the city’s excellent hospitality.

The Park is known for the flocks of Siberian Cranes that migrate here during the winter season. It is the ideal time to watch migratory birds in the Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary. If you are visiting here between the months of August and November, then you can watch resident breeding birds.

The city is easily accessible from most of the major cities of the country. It is well connected by road transport. The nearest railway station is at Bharatpur, which is at about 5 kms from the National Park. The nearest airport is situated at Agra.
