The main day of attraction is Good Friday. Pilgrims climb the hill carrying wooden crosses to fulfill their wishes.

Muruganmala: To the east of Kurisumala is the Muruganmala. This is a Hindu pilgrim centre. The hill houses a rock-cut temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. The place is visited by hundreds of pilgrims every year.

Thangal Para: To reach Thangal Para, you have to travel about 5 kms from Vagamon. This is a Muslim pilgrim centre. It is said that the Durgah here was the resting place of Husrath Sheikh Fariduddhin Baba, a Sufi saint from Afghanistan. The main festival, ‘Uroos’ is conducted during the month of April.
