The tourist attractions near Masinagudi are; Mudumalai National Park, Bandipur National Park, Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta and Ooty. Mudumalai National Park and Bandipur National Park are two of the protected tiger reserves in India.

Mudumalai National Park is located at about 15 kms from Masinagudi. The inhabitants’ of this sanctuary are tigers, leopards, bison, spotted deer, Asian elephants and many other rare wild animals. Different species of birds can also be seen here. The black and orange flycatchers which are facing extinction are also found here.

Bandipur National Park is situated at about 25 kms from Masinagudi. The sanctuary houses around 70 tigers, over 300 bird species, a large number of Asian elephants, panthers, Jackals, spotted deer, sloth bears, grey langurs and snakes from cobra to python.

Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta is one of the main tourist attractions in Masinagudi. The hilltop got its name from the temple dedicated to Lord Krishna on the top of the hill. From here, you could get a beautiful view of the nearby Bandipur National Park.

Ooty is another famous hill station located at a distance of 36kms from Masinagudi. Some of the famous botanical gardens and museums of South India are in Ooty.
