Charminar: The monument was built by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah. This has been believed to be built to resist a deadly epidemic ranging at that time. There are 45 prayer spaces and a mosque in it. A pedestrian zone around the monument is under implementation.

Mecca Masjid: The Masjid is named so, as the stones used in building the central arch have been brought from Mecca.

Laad Bazaar: This is a famous shopping centre in the city. This is a main centre for the purchase of Bridal wear, pearls and the traditional Hyderabadi glass and stone studded bangles.

Golconda Fort:  The fort is located 11 kms to the west of Hyderabad. This fort is famous for its acoustics, palaces, the innovative water supply system and the famous Fateh Rahben gun, one of the cannons used in the last siege of Golconda by Aurangazeb.

Qutb Shahi Tombs:  This is one of the oldest historical monuments in Hyderabad. These tombs are built in Persian, Pathan, & Hindu architectural styles. This is the only one of its kind in the country where an entire dynasty has been buried at one place.

Birla Mandir: This is a white marble temple of Lord Venkateshwara. The idol here is a replica of Tirumala Tirupati.

Salar Jung Museum: There are the biggest one-man collections of antiques of the world by Mir Yonsuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III in this museum.

Ramoji Film City: The place is located about 25 kms from Hyderabad. This is the largest film studio complex spread over 2,000 acres of land.
