Jodhpur is a city of Rajasthan. The city is also known as "The Sun City" because of its bright and sunny weather throughout the year.   1. Mehrangarh Fort: This is the most magnificent fort in Jodhpur. The fort is on a 150m high hill. This fort was constructed by Rao Jodha. There are a many attractions within the fort such as several palaces, galleries, a museum, temples, etc.
  2. Umaid Bhavan Palace: The palace was constructed by Maharaja Umaid Singh. Now a part of this palace has been converted into a hotel and a museum.
  3. Jaswant Thada: This royal monument lies to the left of the Mehrangarh fort complex. It is made up of white marble. It was built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh. You can also see some of the rare portraits of the former rulers of Jodhpur displayed here.
